About The Neighborhood

Home.

Summerwood Lakes welcomed its first family to the growing neighborhood in 2011. Over the years the neighborhood has grown and become home to roughly 90 families—with a handful of lots still available.

Community.

Summerwood Lakes is more than a neighborhood—its a community. Here, neighbors play together, watch out for each other, help each other, and enjoy friendships that started with proximity, but remain because of shared values and interests. Neighbors participate in regular neighborhood events designed to help foster this sense of community.

Family Friendly.

It is not uncommon on good-weather days to see kids and dogs playing outdoors in nearly every yard. Between bike riding, dog-walking, and jogging, you’re likely to encounter one or more of your neighbors sharing the road on any given day. Keeping the neighborhood safe for our children and pets is a priority and a shared value of the families who live in Summerwood Lakes.

Respect.

Summerwood Lakes features plenty of common space, lakes fit for fishing in, and a walking path for neighborhood use. Neighbors here respect the unmarked boundaries of these spaces, and work together to maintain these amenities for everyone’s enjoyment.

Diversity.

Summerwood Lakes is home to a diverse community of people from a variety of backgrounds, countries, and other U.S. States.

Beautiful.

Summerwood Lakes is a beautiful community thanks to neighbors taking great care of their homes and yards. The Neighborhood Landscape Committee (made up of volunteer residents) work together to help keep the entrance and common areas beautiful.
